WEEK 5.
Angela Ziegler, Nicholas Wilde, and Judy Hopps were all punished. Zolf J Kimbley was killed and Gold was executed. Five deaths in one week, the most you've seen so far. Will this ever end? Your number is rapidly dropping. Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Those checking to see whether another door in the stairwells leading downward have been opened will see that once again, you've been rewarded with a new floor; perhaps it's a shame that so many people had to die in order for you to receive it. Or perhaps it's a blessing from a certain point of view, given what almost happened on Thursday night; after all, your number could be much, much lower. |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week five of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Wordsmith, you can do so through letters or the switchboard!]
THURSDAY
Investigation!
Anyway, she's busy trying to compose letters in return, but. That's not working too well.
At some point, she either gets finished or gives up for the time being and goes over to the blackboard.]
Hello, blackboard spirit. Are you there?
[She stops by the vending machine and receives a nice collection of things, though much of it gives her pause. ...Especially the trident? ...and the...police badge... Ugh, a lot of upsetting and emotional things today, inexplicably!!
As it starts getting closer to evening, she can be found at the pool, in her swimsuit, though...not in it, yet. Instead, she's- ...she's-
...well that sure is a bag of Alani's Tea of Mourning she's dipping into the pool, oh my god well I guess she's turning the pool into tea.
If uninterrupted, she's just going to, once the pool is...completely tea, steep herself in it. ...Because why not.]

[Whatever it was though, it wasn't revealing itself to him.]
Are you... making yourself a snack for Kage-whatever?
no subject
E-eh...?! N-no, of course not! [Hanyuu quickly shakes her head.] I-I'm making Alani's tea!

Ah, Miss Hanyuu...it looks like you have a set of my clothing, there.
[ He'll point at it with a sheepish smile. ]
May I have it back?

Oh. So it's. Like you decided to combine a tea party and a pool party in the weirdest possible way.

He draws some roses and what's supposed to be sunflowers, sketches of a poodle chasing squirrels, some sketches of the other Apprentices, and he fills at least five pages with drawings of himself doing cute things together with Yuuri. His style is pretty simple and cartoony, he isn't very good at drawing realistic things.
Also, he's got his phone out on the table so he can listen to music while he draws; unfortunately, he has no headphones so everyone else has to listen to it too. ]

[Anyone who cares to visit the kitchen will find Varric hard at work. Familiar foods such as his stew and bread are present, but so too are other things like pan cooked fish and some form of bird.]
[In truth, he was hoping that people just might eat enough to fall into food comas and forget about any bullshit for the evening.]
[When he's finally exhausted both himself and his recipes, Varric will retreat to the library. Writing might not have been a perfect distraction, but he couldn't avoid it altogether. It had been a busy week, and he needed to document it all. Anyone who enters will find his pen busily flying across the page, and a thoughtful furrow in his brow.]
kitchen
Varric-san, hi! What are you making? It smells good!
no subject
Some lightly fried fish filets, some more stew. Cooked up whatever bird was in there, too. Some vegetables -- hopefully I made them right.
Have whatever you want.

hello from the living
forever late but!
There you are! I should've known to look here first.

the first place she can be seen is at the vending machine with an assortment of items. she definitely recognizes some of these things, such as enraku and makkachin; if you see anything of yours you'd might like back, just let her know!
then, she'll be in the art room. orihime's been working on a nice little drawing in memorial of everyone who's passed so far, but she's putting that on hold. today, she's making a sketch of a certain independent, black-haired, glasses-wearing friend we all know.
later, she slips a little note under watanuki's door. it reads: ]
Watanuki-kun,
Let's talk sometime today, when you're free!
- Orihime
[ what's the most notable thing is that she has the words I love you written on her forehead. feel free to ask her about that, if you wish! ]
art room
He's already setting himself up for the worst, because he's built up some pretty negative expectations in his mind. He's absolutely sure that there is no way Orihime would ever return his feelings. Last night was a mistake, and he wants to forget it. There's no point to getting his hopes up.
The word 'loved' is still on his forehead, but he has combed his hair forward like he usually does, so it is mostly-covered.
Eventually he does find her in the art room, and he swallows down a nervous breath before clearing his throat to get her attention.]
Inoue-san?

Watanuki-kun.
[ she smiles, softly and sincerely, patting the empty chair next to her. she closes her sketchbook and waits for him to come over. even when he does, she finds it hard to look him in the eye. where does she start? how does she say any of this? ]
...I thought a lot about what you told me, last night. And...I want you to know, first, that it made me really happy.
[ ... ] I don't...know if I should say it back, because... [ ah, this is where things get complicated: ] I still have feelings for Kurosaki-kun. A-And it isn't fair to you if I told you I...I love you, in that way, because of that.
[ it probably sounds bleak, doesn't it? it almost pains her to think about how much it must have hurt him, knowing that she felt so strongly towards ichigo. yet... ]
But...I know that I...I've started to feel something similar towards you, too.
