[ Well, that... certainly was a thing that happened. Viktor wishes he could unsee what he witnessed in the library, but it seems like it has etched into his memory forever. Thinking about it makes him sick to his stomach, and eventually he decides that he needs something to keep his mind off it, at least for a little while.

So around noon, a note goes up on the fridge: ]

If you need a distraction after what happened today, come to the dining room at 6 pm.
There will be food and we'll be playing truth or dare!

[ There's also a cute doodle of himself underneath his signature. Later in the day, he writes copies of said note and slides them under everyone's doors. ]

[ Those who come to the dining room at will find that Viktor has made plenty of borscht, pancakes and open-faced sandwiches for them. He isn't the best chef ever, but it tastes pretty good and will fill you up! There's also juice, water, and a few bottles of alcohol for those who are old enough to drink; try to be responsible, okay.

And for the truth and dare, he's prepared shots of hot sauce as punishment for those who refuse a dare. ]

Well what does one say to that?! Even in my grandfather's time, I don't think I ever heard of a vampire family having more than maybe four kids at most. It's hard to even picture it.

It's something else. I mean...we have over 81 million residents. My family is just a really small part of it.

Just rabbits. There are a lot of animals in zootopia, but 99% of them are prey animals, like rabbits.

[She legit just said prey. Like it was nothing.]

But how many of them are rabbits?

Um, well...there are 81 million and counting just in Bunnyburrow alone...I couldn't tell you about other towns.

So...probably a lot?

[ 81 million... just in one civilization center.

That's more than even the humans, isn't it?

She needed to - she isn't surprised (or well, rather, she shouldn't be), but the way she looks at Judy now, she's barely even seeing her. that sort of civilization-

...is that unusual? I mean, I don't exactly know how many humans are in the world...or vampires, for that matter.

There's something around four billion humans these days all over the world [ In the eighties... ] I don't even know if that's right, but they're sure everywhere.

[ She doesn't answer that second one, somewhat suspiciously ]

That's still a lot...not as many as rabbits, but rabbits are. Well. Not really a good benchmark for animal population. As many of us as there are, there are many, many other species out there.

There's only two that matter on my Earth. Vampires and humans - every other animal's just ... well, an animal! They're good companions sometimes but mostly just stupid by comparison, you don't see them building cities or anything.

[That's so weird for Judy to try to think about, and she knows if she tries to ask further it'll just make it worse.]

And Vampires...I guess in comparison to humans, they're more or less always around. Right?

So...what about the rest of your world? Beyond Japan?

If there were any left in Europe, they're probably dust by now. I heard some families tried to get on the early boats over to the New World... But it's probably just us, really.

[ As far as she knows, again ]

[It's pretty interesting to her, actually, seeing how Vampires are just mythical creatures in her world. Imagine that, in a world of talking animals.]

Maybe there are some animal vampires in Zootopia, and your everyanimal just doesn't know about them.

I bet it's the bats, then.
