WEEK 3.
As the second week draws to a close, two more have joined the deceased. Christo and Alani are dead, leaving twenty-six of you remaining. It may not seem like very many have died, but their absence will certainly be felt. Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Just like last week, a door in the stairwell has opened, leading you down further into the building; there are more rooms open to you down there - possibly even one that you'll find personally interesting. Go ahead and explore all you like; after all, you did well at completing your lessons this past week. APPRENTICES REMAINING: 25 |

[OOC: Welcome to week three of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Wordsmith, you can do so through letters or the switchboard!]

...She still hesitates, fingers trailing up her arm, but she does unwind the part tucked closest to her elbow; it's not as terrible looking as by her wrist. It's pale beneath the cracking skin, dully glowing the way that something plastic-like does in the light. Like a mannequin, or a doll, or... well, it's nothing human, at any rate.
She rubs a bit of the skin with her thumb and brushes it off, watching the flake fall to the ground.
Then she wraps it back up, careful as she can, and tilts her head at him.
So.
Happy? ]

You shouldn't pick at yourself like that, [but he's not really sure what else to say to that because
Chiyuki's not human? She's more like... a doll, or something, and he glances away.] Sorry about callin' you dollface.
[...]
You weren't... made or anything.
[It's not a questioning tone, but it's clearly a question.]
no subject
...It's hard to explain without explaining everything else with it, essentially. ]
Don't worry about the dollface comment. You didn't know. [ Which was a bit of the point; there's more people that know now than she... had honestly wanted, but it isn't the majority and they're not people who'd say anything about it, surprisingly enough. This isn't the kind of thing she likes thinking about or being used to seeing, even if it's both of those plus her reminder every day she wakes up. ] Do you mind setting us up for 8-ball? I'm in the mood to play.
no subject
He'll set up, though, because he won't mind playing with her.]
I still think you're a good person, really human or not. That kinda thing don't matter, you know? You, uh. Oughta be careful about knockin' into stuff though. I guess.
[maybe. how fragile is she??]
no subject
[ But it's not said like he's stupid for reminding her or anything, it's just a bit... there, and she picks up a cue stick to join him with. ]
...Thanks for saying so. I should've said that to everyone at the meeting, too. [ It's not like she's given them anything else to think, and no matter what she says to Kimbley he's not interested in judging her at all, so even if she did have something terrible... well, she's not him or anyone from his world, so. ] I don't know if I can really agree with it still, but there's worse people.

[He's breaking the balls once she's over, eyeing the stripes before aiming for solids instead.]
What do you think of people who use others? Whether they're other people or creatures like Pokémon.
no subject
...I wouldn't say I can forgive a lot of things, [ there are just some things she can't, even if they have good reasons ] but I feel like if there's a good reason or something along those lines, it's more understandable.
[ like Alani. ...Kyrie too, but it's a little. more difficult, with her. ]
I can't bring myself to feel that way about using others though.
no subject
[Cut and dry, like this shot he's sinking.]
See, I can't stand people who use others, who think of them and Pokémon as nothing but tools, yeah? They're the kinds of people me and Silver take down. You're not that kinda person, so you're good.
no subject
Aren't you a little young to dish out vigilante justice. [ It's not really a question, but it also
kind of is. You're like 16? She was just skating when she was your age, please slow down. ]
no subject
I lied to the police about what Silver looked like just so I could get my backpack I thought he'd stolen back by myself when I was eleven.
[you are Never too young to dish out vigilante justice]
no subject
And what was so hard about just trusting the authorities to do their job?
no subject
[That's literally it.]
no subject
And then you became friends with him. [ ... ] So who stole your bag, if he didn't.
no subject
[... so yeah. welcome to friendship]
