Trustfell 4: Trust Fall or Die Hard ([personal profile] trustwellness) wrote in [community profile] trusthell2017-02-05 11:51 am

WEEK 3.

WEEK 3

As the second week draws to a close, two more have joined the deceased. Christo and Alani are dead, leaving twenty-six of you remaining.

It may not seem like very many have died, but their absence will certainly be felt.

Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

Just like last week, a door in the stairwell has opened, leading you down further into the building; there are more rooms open to you down there - possibly even one that you'll find personally interesting.

Go ahead and explore all you like; after all, you did well at completing your lessons this past week.

[OOC: Welcome to week three of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!

If you'd like to get in contact with the Wordsmith, you can do so through letters or the switchboard!]

Yes, we all should. Whether it's a cuestick or whatever you may have, we all have the right to defend ourselves. It's kill or be killed, that much is clear now. I may not know how to use a gun, but I know how to fight. I refuse to let my own negligence let me get killed even if... even if I don't feel like I have the right to live more than anyone else.

[She's truly terrified. Part of her really just wants to die and let this all be over, but another part wants to fight for her life. It's a weird feeling.]

You know, even if you're talkin' a lotta sense, it sounds pretty strange from a cotton candy princess like you.

[If the last part hadn't been paired with what it had been, he'd find himself more irritated at her lack of self-preservation, but the fact of the matter is she knows what's up and is determined to do anything she could.]

Not in a bad way, mind, just not something you'd think to hear from a girl who dislikes violence! [kind of weird, but people have their facets and he knows it better than anyone] Though... if you're lookin' for a good teacher, guess I gotta recommend Kimbley. He's been in war before, figure he's used that kinda thing.

[Maybe. Unless they just used alchemy to kill their foes, then uh. Anyway.]

Is it really that strange? I was just taught that if you wished to live, this is how you have to act.

[Kill or be killed. She struggled with that at first, heck, even this week, but she has a new resolve it feels like. Perhaps it's a fear of dying that is making her want to fight more.]

It's true I rather not like violence, but if it's the difference between me dying and me living, or even perhaps protecting someone else, it's what I will do.

[A teacher though...]

Does Kimbley know how to use a gun? I'm well verse in a sword, but unfortunately that's not what I have.
