Trustfell 4: Trust Fall or Die Hard ([personal profile] trustwellness) wrote in [community profile] trusthell2017-01-22 12:35 am

Welcome.

You wake with the unshakable feeling that you shouldn't be here.

Perhaps you were in the middle of something, perhaps you weren't. Either way, you're waking up in an unfamiliar location with no recollection of how you got here. The room you've woken up in is sparsely-decorated, though that might be difficult to tell at first given how nice the beds are...but eventually you'll notice a few things that are a little...off. Maybe the scent is striking you wrong - it's clean, but it's not yours. Maybe your bed back home doesn't support your back in quite this way. Maybe you should be seeing sunlight through your window by now.

Maybe you should have a window in the first place.

This isn't right, but leaving the room won't give you any more answers. You might want to grab the silver key sitting on your trunk on the way out.

Don't worry though, you aren't all alone here. Once you step outside your room into the hallway, you'll notice that a few others are emerging from their rooms as well. It looks like they're just as confused and concerned as you are. Feel free to talk to them, but none of you know how exactly you wound up here and maybe some useful information can be found by exploring.

If you follow the hallway to its end (and it's a very long hallway), you'll eventually arrive in the foyer. You'll find some very interesting information about yourselves on the wall near the clock. Perhaps even more importantly, if you look on the other side of the multi-pendulumed thing, you'll find other framed information that you might want to pay attention to. It could very well be the key to escaping this strange place, after all. Don't worry if you forget the rules, you can find them in every room of the building.

Of course, search as you might, you won't find a doorway or a window of any sort. Getting out won't be so easy, it seems.

But who knows? Perhaps your fellow captives have something to say about all of this.

Welcome to Chronos University.

[Oh hey apple friend, apples are great. Super great!

...Silver has absolutely stuffed his pockets full of apples because he has problems, but that doesn't stop him from agreeing with Sportacus' assessment.]

They're awful rules.

[Why the hell can't they beat up this Wordsmith guy?]
sportadork: (and I'll be your dog)

[personal profile] sportadork 2017-01-22 10:14 pm (UTC)(link)
[that is a perfectly reasonable amount of apples.]

In cases like this, I think it can be okay to break some rules. [local superhero teaches children civil disobedience.]
feistytrader: (gold's hat is huge too)

[personal profile] feistytrader 2017-01-23 02:59 am (UTC)(link)
I'd like to break the one where it says we can't beat him up, personally.

[Silver that's not at all what he meant-]
sportadork: (and I can't sleep)

[personal profile] sportadork 2017-01-23 03:31 am (UTC)(link)
... I think that would be a good rule to follow for now. [leaving the option of butt-kicking open a bit. he can be flexible.]
feistytrader: (okay then)

[personal profile] feistytrader 2017-01-23 07:20 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, but I doubt I'm gonna get to punch the Wordsmith in the face just by asking.

[Ginti tried that and look at how that turned out-]
sportadork: (for all my life)

[personal profile] sportadork 2017-01-23 08:14 am (UTC)(link)
You never know what asking politely might get you! [sportacus would never kinkshame you]

Still, violence is not the answer to this problem. It is not the answer to any problem.
feistytrader: (hi your window was open I swear)

[personal profile] feistytrader 2017-01-23 08:35 am (UTC)(link)
It's the answer to a lot of problems. Especially problems like these.

[...Just, you know. Preferably without the killing.]
sportadork: (that the sun will shine)

[personal profile] sportadork 2017-01-23 08:48 am (UTC)(link)
[internal sigh] And what will you do after you punch him?
feistytrader: (sticker stars)

[personal profile] feistytrader 2017-01-23 08:50 am (UTC)(link)
Keep punching. ...Probably until he's not moving or someone else wants a turn.

You should get a punch in, too.
sportadork: (I'll be your light)

[personal profile] sportadork 2017-01-23 08:52 am (UTC)(link)
[he isn't punching anybody.... these guns are for love not war....]

And after he stops moving? What then?
feistytrader: (capes are totally cool)

[personal profile] feistytrader 2017-01-24 03:25 am (UTC)(link)
I let the big gem lady have him.

[A flawless plan!]
sportadork: (well it's hard when you love them)

[personal profile] sportadork 2017-01-24 04:47 am (UTC)(link)
No-- [nope. not frustration. reel it in.]

Nobody is going to be punching anybody. When we leave here, the Wordsmith will go to jail; there will be no violence, and he will be punished for what he has done. That is how this will go.
feistytrader: (capes are totally cool)

[personal profile] feistytrader 2017-01-24 05:02 am (UTC)(link)
[Haha, the police. Like they do anything.]

I doubt he'll let us out unless we kill him. If he does, I doubt everyone here's going to agree to letting the cops handle it.

[Despite talking tough, Silver just can't stop fidgeting with his gloves.]
sportadork: (what could I say)

[personal profile] sportadork 2017-01-24 05:06 am (UTC)(link)
[mildly. he sees that.] We have a cop here. She will take care of it.
feistytrader: (listening in)

[personal profile] feistytrader 2017-01-24 05:23 am (UTC)(link)
[If she's still around.]

You're a really optimistic person, aren't you?

[He's too old to be naive. Is he lying? What's his deal?]
sportadork: (but I got a lot of heart)

[personal profile] sportadork 2017-01-24 05:28 am (UTC)(link)
Everybody keeps saying that. [grins] I have been taking it as a compliment.
feistytrader: (okay then)

[personal profile] feistytrader 2017-01-24 05:38 am (UTC)(link)
It is, to a point.

[Maybe he really does have his head in the clouds.]

I guess we'll see what happens.
sportadork: (and what could I say)

[personal profile] sportadork 2017-01-24 05:53 am (UTC)(link)
For now, that's all we can do. But, when the time comes, we will take action.

... It's just those actions will not be punching.
feistytrader: (water u doin parasee)

[personal profile] feistytrader 2017-01-25 06:28 am (UTC)(link)
...Have you ever punched someone before?

[It's hard to imagine someone that hasn't, but he has to ask.]
feistytrader: (sticker stars)

[personal profile] feistytrader 2017-01-25 06:41 am (UTC)(link)
No wonder why you're so against it. You have no idea how great it feels to get someone right in the face.

[Silver that's-]
sportadork: (I feel the coals of the fire)

[personal profile] sportadork 2017-01-25 06:43 am (UTC)(link)
Hurting people is wrong. No matter who those people are. [he says, in his "no, ziggy, candy corn are not vegetables" voice.]
feistytrader: (battles though)

[personal profile] feistytrader 2017-01-25 06:48 am (UTC)(link)
No, no, I'm not talking about beating up bad guys.

[...You should totally beat up bad guys, but that's not the point here.]

I mean grabbing your best friend and beating the snot out of him. It feels great.

[He's completely serious.]
sportadork: (this world's a pirate)

[personal profile] sportadork 2017-01-25 06:52 am (UTC)(link)
[what the fuck is wrong with these kids]

Ah... As long as your best friend is okay with it. You should be careful when roughhousing, though! [#sportacuswillneverkinkshameyou]
feistytrader: (water u doin parasee)

[personal profile] feistytrader 2017-01-25 06:57 am (UTC)(link)
Uh... Yeah. Probably.

[Especially in a place like this. Well, there's always one of their rooms...]

Give it a try sometime.
