You wake with the unshakable feeling that you shouldn't be here.

Perhaps you were in the middle of something, perhaps you weren't. Either way, you're waking up in an unfamiliar location with no recollection of how you got here. The room you've woken up in is sparsely-decorated, though that might be difficult to tell at first given how nice the beds are...but eventually you'll notice a few things that are a little...off. Maybe the scent is striking you wrong - it's clean, but it's not yours. Maybe your bed back home doesn't support your back in quite this way. Maybe you should be seeing sunlight through your window by now.

Maybe you should have a window in the first place.

This isn't right, but leaving the room won't give you any more answers. You might want to grab the silver key sitting on your trunk on the way out.

Don't worry though, you aren't all alone here. Once you step outside your room into the hallway, you'll notice that a few others are emerging from their rooms as well. It looks like they're just as confused and concerned as you are. Feel free to talk to them, but none of you know how exactly you wound up here and maybe some useful information can be found by exploring.

If you follow the hallway to its end (and it's a very long hallway), you'll eventually arrive in the foyer. You'll find some very interesting information about yourselves on the wall near the clock. Perhaps even more importantly, if you look on the other side of the multi-pendulumed thing, you'll find other framed information that you might want to pay attention to. It could very well be the key to escaping this strange place, after all. Don't worry if you forget the rules, you can find them in every room of the building.

Of course, search as you might, you won't find a doorway or a window of any sort. Getting out won't be so easy, it seems.

But who knows? Perhaps your fellow captives have something to say about all of this.

[ Unluckily for Christo, he's going to run into Orihime in the hallways and she's going to be extremely unhelpful. Just like him, she's confused and most certainly lost. ]

Actually, I don't, haha! [ She rubs the back of her head sheepishly. ] Um, I woke up in one of the rooms back there, and I can't remember how I got here, either...

[You tried, Orihime. He suppresses a sigh.]

The same as me. Where were you before awakening here?

Well...the last thing I remember was being in Urahara-san's shop, and I was lying down on a futon. I must have fallen asleep before I woke up here.

And where is Urahara-san's shop? What world, specifically.

[Maybe they've been drawn from a limited area - that would certainly help narrow down their location.]

[ "What world?" Oh, is that what he means? ]

Um...the world of the living?

[ Because that's obviously what he means, right. ] More specifically, it's in Karakura Town, which is part of Japan!

That's not on any Netherworld I know.

[He thinks he's heard of most of the important ones, at least...]

What's a Netherworld?

[ That doesn't sound like any place on earth...??? ]

[He might have to explain this a lot, given how many humans seem to be here.]

Do demons frequent where you're from? I'd heard they mostly leave humans to their own devices.

Mm, they aren't really called "demons" where I'm from, but sometimes they have horns, and some of them don't even look human! And they don't really leave people alone, either!

That sounds about right to where I'm from. Demons can be quite aggressive in the right, or wrong, circumstances.

Mhm, you're right about that.

Of course! Most of the ones I know usually have white horns and white masks on.

Not really! They look pretty different from one another.

[ Okay, how to explain this... ] Actually, they're corrupted spirits of those that stay in the human world too long, and they keep some of their human features once they turn. It's...a lot different than what you're talking about, I think!
